Forget traditional theatre shows: Abu Dhabi’s new immersive legal drama puts the final verdict entirely in the hands of the audience

A fatal late-night speedboat crash throws this case straight into murky water: a group of friends, one dead, one left in a coma, and an accused man whose political privilege seems to ripple through every testimony. Was it a reckless accident, or something more deliberate? As the trial unfolds, the evidence refuses to sit still—memories clash, loyalties bend, and power keeps blurring responsibility. You’re not just watching the story drift by; as the jury, you’ll weigh what feels credible, what feels convenient, and where the truth might actually land.

Blurring the lines between stage and courtroom, The Jury Experience is a 60 to 75-minute interactive drama where every audience member becomes a juror. Professional actors take on the roles of judges, witnesses and defendants, while the audience debates real moral, philosophical and scientific dilemmas — all brought to life with the help of QR voting technology.

In Abu Dhabi, this gripping production invites curious minds to weigh evidence, question motives and confront challenging cases, from a self-driving car’s fatal choice to a luxury lifestyle murder. Every verdict changes the story, making each trial a one-of-a-kind exploration of justice and human complexity.

Ever since its debut in Abu Dhabi, guests have given this experience 4 and 5 star reviews, praising the cases and actors’ performances.

Taking place at Manarat Al Saadiyat, The Jury Experience transforms spectators into decision-makers, inviting each person to wrestle with moral uncertainty and intellectual tension.

It’s this shared curiosity, the need to reason, to argue, to feel, that makes the experience so powerful. In a city known for its love of innovation and dialogue, The Jury Experience offers an unforgettable reflection on truth, responsibility and the choices that define us.
